A Home Information Pack is a packet of information about an individual
property, containing details such as who the seller is, what is included with
the sale, who the local authority is and copies of the title deeds. Also
included is an Energy Certificate that outlines the energy efficiency of the
property, and it has a rating from A to G relating to how much CO2 it emits
into the atmosphere.

The cost of a HIP has been coming down in response to market demand,
we are currently able to obtain a HIP for about £350, but this fluctuates
so please check with your local office.
